CQ0504 CEN PRE-GLUED 2.2″ GREY WHEEL & TIRE SET FIAT / SUZUKI JIMNY

CEN CQ0504 GLUED WHEEL & TIRE GREY 2.2-INCH Q-SERIES

The CEN Racing CQ0504 Wheel & Tire Glued (Grey) is a factory-assembled wheel-and-tire combo for compatible CEN Q-Series applications. The tire is supplied already mounted to the grey wheel, eliminating the separate bead-prep and gluing step required with loose wheel/tire components.

FACTORY-GLUED ADVANTAGE

A pre-glued assembly removes one of the most failure-prone setup steps in RC tire preparation. Correct bead seating and adhesive coverage matter because uneven seating can create radial hop, vibration or local bead separation under load. With CQ0504, the wheel and tire are supplied as an assembled service unit.

FITMENT

CQ0504 should be matched by exact CEN part number and intended vehicle application rather than by appearance alone. CEN catalogs multiple Q/MT-Series wheels and tires with different widths and configurations, so a similar-looking 2.2-inch wheel does not automatically guarantee equivalent track width, bead geometry or body/suspension clearance.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

• Confirm the vehicle parts list calls for CQ0504 or an explicitly compatible assembly.
• Inspect the glued bead around the full circumference before installation.
• Check the wheel mounting interface and axle hardware for debris or damage.
• Seat the wheel squarely on the hub/hex interface.
• Rotate the assembly by hand and inspect for lateral wobble or radial hop.
• Check steering clearance at full left and right lock.
• Cycle suspension travel and verify the tire does not contact chassis or body components.
• Recheck wheel-retaining hardware after the first driving session.

RUNOUT & VIBRATION DIAGNOSIS

If the assembly appears to wobble, isolate the cause before replacing the tire. Check hub seating, axle straightness, wheel interface, bead condition and tire deformation. A perfectly usable tire can appear out of round if the wheel is not seated correctly on the vehicle.

GLUED-BEAD INSPECTION

Inspect the bead periodically, especially after impacts or high-load running. A localized bead gap can allow the tire to lift from the rim and create imbalance. Do not pull aggressively on the tire sidewall during inspection; visually check the bond around both sides of the wheel.

TIRE CARE

Use mild soap and water for routine cleaning and avoid aggressive solvents that may attack the rubber or adhesive bond. Remove trapped debris before storage and avoid prolonged heat or direct sunlight, which can accelerate rubber aging.

WHAT CEN DOES NOT PUBLISH

CEN confirms CQ0504 as the grey glued wheel/tire assembly, but the current catalog does not publish a complete specification set for actual tire outside diameter, mounted width, rubber compound, Shore hardness, foam/insert specification, wheel offset, backspacing or complete assembly weight. GASHEAD RC does not infer those values from neighboring CQ050x or CQ060x parts.

GASHEAD RC NOTE

CQ0504 is best treated as a complete replacement assembly rather than a generic 2.2-inch tire. Matching the exact part number protects steering clearance, wheel position and the intended CEN Q-Series setup while also giving you a ready-to-install factory-glued unit.
