The RC4WD Trail Finder 2 LWB Chevrolet K10 Scottsdale combines a licensed 1/10-scale hard-plastic Chevrolet pickup body with RC4WD’s 12.3-inch-wheelbase TF2 LWB chassis. The Black edition features a molded drop bed, functional tailgate, opening hood, detailed interior, interchangeable grille options and a dressed small-block V8 engine bay over a leaf-sprung, metal-geared scale drivetrain.

SETUP & OWNER NOTES

• Inspect installed hardware before the first trail run and periodically thereafter.
• Use thread lock sparingly on appropriate metal-to-metal fasteners.
• The hard body, detailed engine bay and scale accessories add mass compared with a lightweight Lexan body; use controlled driving on steep side hills.
• Fine-tune leaf-spring rate gradually with the supplied spring components rather than removing scale hardware solely for articulation.
• Keep lighting and engine-bay wiring clear of steering, driveshaft and suspension movement.

GASHEAD RC SCALE-TRAIL NOTE

The K10 Scottsdale is a scale truck first: a 12.3-inch LWB chassis, leaf springs, K44 axles and hard Chevrolet body give it the stance and driving character of a classic full-size pickup. The 45T motor, R3/Hammer drivetrain and 31.9:1 final ratio are geared toward controlled trail work rather than outright speed.
